5 Tips for Implementing a Successful Quiet Time

  1. Start with a positive mentality - Frame quiet-time in a positive light

  2. Fill their cup - Spend quality time beforehand to fill up their cup with “mommy/daddy love & attention”. Let your child direct this time.

  3. Get a visual timer

  4. Create a rhythm/habit so they know what to expect

  5. Have something fun to look forward to afterwards - Snack time, an activity together, etc.
